Professional License Batch Verification

For health care organizations with a large medical staff, online verification of professional licenses and DEA can be a challenging and a time consuming process. The web crawling and web scraping technology that is available to MD-Staff users, is now available to any organizations wishing to automate this process. To take advantage of this service, you do not have to purchase and install the MD-Staff Credentialing System. In order to use this verification service, you need to submit an Excel file to ASM which contains the specific provider information that will be used to perform the verification search. The license verificaiton service can be a cost-effective method to credential a large number of providers.

What type of verifications do we provide?

ASM currently offers online verification for:
  • State Licensure - including medical licenses and certifications
  • DEA
  • OIG
  • GSA
  • ABMS/CertiFACTS
ASM's online verification tool can scrape and crawl over two thousand sources in order to verify these items. Please contact us for more details.

How does this process work?

The provider's information, such as: name, license number, and the state of licensure is provided to ASM in an Excel or CSV file. This data file can be uploaded to ASM's secure server. Once the verifications are done, the provider information is deleted from our server. Since different websites may require different information for their search criteria, please contact us regarding the required data fields.

How much does it cost?

In order to use this service, you do not have to purchase any software from ASM or sign a long term contract. The cost for the verification depends on the volume but starts as low as $0.50 per verification. The process usually takes about one week.

What do you get back from ASM?

What is returned, may vary depending on the website, we will generally return to you the following items:
  1. A screen capture of the verification page in PDF format. Most accreditation organizations require this page as a proof of the verification.
  2. An Excel data file listing the name of the providers, their license number, current standing, any restrictions, and the expiration date. You can use this data file to update your database.
