OPPE (Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation)
ASM provides a solution for streamlining your review and credentialing process to help you meet Joint Commission requirements.
Our physician centric software allows you to collect, report, and analyze specific data elements for the following competency areas:
- Patient Care
- Medical/Clinical Knowledge
- Practice Based Learning and Improvement
- Interpersonal Skills
- Professionalism
- Systems-Based Practice
Our comprehensive Peer Review system allows you to build indicator for any type of reviews.
Based on this data and the data collected from your EMR system via the HL7 interface, MD-Staff provides
a series of concise management reports. These reports are case mixed adjusted using the DRG (grouper software from CMS) or
specialty to permit “apples-to-apples” comparison with peers. These adjustment methodologies are crucial in your presentation of
utilization data to your providers.
FPPE (Focused Professional Practice Evaluation)
As required by the Joint Commission, FPPE applies when the practitioner is new to the organization,
when the practitioner requests a new privilege, or when questions arise about the practitioner ability to provide high-quality care.
Regardless of the circumstance which trigger FPPE, MD-Staff is designed to help you manage the FPPE process.
Our clinical privilege module allows you to track and correlate the privileges with the procedures performed.
The proctor module allows you to manage cases performed during the proctoring process.
