MD-Staff is a credentialing system designed for hospitals and managed care organizations. Introduced in 1985, it is installed in healthcare facilities nationwide. MD-Staff is designed for Medical Staff professionals with a user intuitive design. Since the learning curve is very low, you can be productive within days.

MD-Staff has an extensive demographic database which can be expanded with user defined fields. This gives you the power and flexibility needed to manage and report your demographic information. MD-Staff also includes customizable, preloaded tables that list hospitals, schools and postgraduate training programs and their addresses to assist you with your demographic needs.

MD-Staff has a large library of built-in reports to meet your reporting needs. This allows you to run the majority of your reports with a few simple steps. Even though MD-Staff includes hundreds of pre-built reports, it is inevitable that you will need to create a custom report to meet specific specifications. MD-Staff includes a user friendly Report Writer which allows you to create your own custom reports. Data fields can simply be “dragged and dropped” onto the report, thus eliminating complicated commands. The Report Writer can also export data to Excel, Access or email.

MD-Staff is tightly integrated with Microsoft Word to produce professional looking documents such as: primary source verifications, applications for reappointment, or any other document you wish to create in Microsoft Word. Data fields from MD-Staff can be inserted into these documents for merging.

Although MD-Staff is a very powerful software suite, it is designed to be installed and used on existing servers and workstations. Since a dedicated server is not required, the initial overall cost for installing MD-Staff is much lower.
