can be viewed online or downloaded. MD-App includes a built-in reference library containing the names and
addresses of hospitals, medical schools, and residency programs nationwide.
By selecting these references from the library the applicants do not have to type full names or look up the addresses.
This minimizes the time needed to fill out the application, expedites the application process, reduces error, and provides the
applicants a user friendly environment.
Once the application is submitted online, the Medical Staff Coordinator can review, accept or reject the application.
If an application is accepted, the Medical Staff Coordinator can import the data directly into MD-Staff.
This step eliminates the need for manual data entry and further reduces error.
During the import process, MD-App can automatically verify the licenses, DEA, OIG, ABMS and any other sources as determined by the user.
The initial application processing which usually takes the Medical Staff Office several hours can now be done in a few minutes using MD-App.
Automates Your Reappointment Process
Reappointment is by far the most time consuming process for the Medical Staff Office due to its volume.
Since each provider must be reappointed every two years, the number of reappointments far exceeds the number of initial applications.
As such, automating the reappointment process promises the greatest impact. Printing and mailing application packets, then waiting for
the applications to be returned to the Medical Staff Office is no longer an acceptable option for a busy Medical Staff.
MD-App allows the Medical Staff Coordinator to customize the electronic application packets for each applicant.
This packet contains all the necessary forms including the pre-populated application form, privilege forms with approved privileges,
and any other documents the Medical Staff Office wishes to include. The providers simply login to MD-App, make the necessary modifications
to the application and submit the application electronically. Once the application for reappointment is received by the Medical Staff,
the coordinator simply reviews and applies the changes.
Seamless Integration
MD-App integrates seamlessly with your MD-Staff system. The Medical Staff Office can manage applicants, pre-applications,
and application packets all from within MD-Staff. When a applicant has completed their application the application data,
application document, and scanned documents can all be imported from within MD-Staff with the click of a button.
Once the application is imported, MD-Staff can automatically verify the applicant's data.

Business Rules
Business rules can be enforced to make sure the application is complete before it can be submitted. Additionally,
once an application is submitted, the Medical Staff Office can review the application and if necessary, reject the application,
sending it back to the provider to finish.
Reference Library
MD-App includes an extensive reference library including hospitals, medical schools, and residencies. When entering data the applicant
simply selects an item from the library. Selecting from the library saves the applicant time by not having to lookup and enter the address.
The library the applicant selects from the same reference library that is used in your MD-Staff system, reducing data entry and increasing accuracy.
Application Packet
MD-App's initial application packets can be customized for each applicant to include any of your documents,
including bylaws and rules & regulations. Likewise, the privilege form(s) sent to the applicant are unique to
his/her specialty. The initial application can be viewed, downloaded and printed online by the applicant, reducing
the cost and time needed to print and mail the paper application packet to the applicant.
Document Upload
The applicant can upload documents such as photos, CV, DEA certificate and licenses. By uploading these documents to MD-App,
they are imported electronically into MD-Staff. Since the documents do not need to be mailed, the Medical Staff Office
saves time by eliminating the need to scan, enter and file the printed/mailed documents.
